Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel out 2013

For all those who enjoy the bro culture and previous two games in the series, good news! EA has announced that Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel will be making its debut in March 2013. The same developer of the previous Army of Two games, Visceral Montreal (formerly EA Montreal), will be handling this new testosterone fest as well.

As you could have guessed, the game will be taking place in Mexico and have you fighting against drug warlords of the cartel. The premise is that the two bro’s are sent in to help deal with an ongoing war between many sides. They have also stated that the tag-team features will be improved on, while keeping the classic co-op gameplay from the first two. Gun’s will also be more of a focus, allowing great customization and player choice.

I hope that they include a bunch more co-op actions to perform, as there was a severe lack in the first sequel, Army of Two: The 40th Day.  I found the games to be great fun, but only if you could get a friend in the same room playing, so maybe online will be overhauled as well.
