Hard Reset Predicts: Playstation All-Stars
It seems that Playstation All-Stars is still missing a few characters and with a promised launch date of October 23rd; it makes gamers everywhere wonder, what’s the hold-up of the character announcements?
We at Hard Reset have decided to try our hand at predicting who might fill those empty slots. These character’s range from old-school franchises to new school franchises but no matter what it is; you can almost bank on these character’s being perfect fits for the game. So, without further ado, let’s just get right into it, shall we?
NAME: Jaster Rogue
GAME: Rogue Galaxy

BIO: A young child from a backwater in the edge of the galaxy, he is descended from the legendary Star King, the savior of the galaxy

Bio: Female warrior from a clan that believes a heavenly sword will defend them against the demonic Raven Lord. Nariko takes up the sword to defend her clan from an evil king whilst slowly losing her life force to the cursed blade.
Level 1: Sword Splits into two doubling attack rate for a time.
Level 2: Sword splits into a whip, doubling attack range.
Level 3: Nariko enters Goddess mode, becoming invincible with massive attack damage and attack speed. Downside, Nariko rapidly loses health in this mode and it comes with a huge cool-down time.

Bio: John Marston is a former outlaw. He ran with Dutch van der Linde’s gang, committing robberies, raids, murders, and other crimes across the American frontier circa 1888 through 1906. He was shot and left to die and soon took to retiring after working for the government for a brief period as an outlaw again. He has the ability to slow down time in his favor using a technique called Dead Eye, allowing him to make impossible shots.
Level 1: Simple ‘Dead Eye’; John throws 6 knives and then gains a 2 second Dead Eye mode.
Level 2: Advanced ‘Dead Eye’; John throws a Molotov above the enemy and shoots it if it does not collide with the opponent then gains a 3 second Dead Eye mode.
Level 3: Perfect ‘Dead Eye’; John unleashes his dual revolvers plus a stick of dynamite all in Dead Eye mode.

NAME: Seth Killian (turbo edition)
GAME: Lead Designer of Sony Santa Monica

BIO: Former Capcom poster boy Seth Killian once stood tall as a legendary tournament fighter who shares the responsibility of inventing EVO. Now after falling from grace in the FGC he returns to claim Sony’s ultimate fighting crown. But will he be able to stand against his new rivals?
LEVEL 1: “Hold that in your chest”: Seth calls upon the spirit of Diago Umehara and parries up to 5 attacks before unleashing a powerful combo ending with Seth punching his opponent in the chest.
LEVEL 2: “Body for Free”: Seth screams “Body Dat Fraud” while unleashing an ultimate body splash for massive damage. Button bashing will cause Seth to repeatedly say “for free” allowing for faster recovery
LEVEL 3: Final Sodium Breaker: Seth pulls out a list of lies regarding fighting games he represents then folds it into a plane and throws it at the opponent. If the paper plane hits: the opponent will cry. Seth will lick the opponents face saying: “Your bitter tears are delicious” causing instant KO. (This combo has very specific frame data and can only be performed by DESK when he is high on crack.)
These are Hard Reset’s predictions for who will fill-up those empty spaces in Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royale. Of course, the last pick, sources tell me, may not be all very believable but dammit, no one goes un-noticed at Hard Reset!
