TF2: Mann vs Machine Mode

Valve has just announced a new addition to their already popular free-to-play multiplayer shooter. Mann vs Machine for Team Fortress 2 pits 5 players against hordes of machines whom seek to destroy the teams bases. It will be released upon the world on August 15.

For those unfamiliar with the Team Fortress 2 universe, the concept is simple. Two teams, one Blu (yes, it is spelled Blu) is pitted against another, Red. There are various missions with players controlling characters of various classes while obtaining hats and weapon unlocks. While there is an entire backstory which can be found here, it can essentially be summed up as two brothers, Blutarch and Redmond; suffering with a bad case of sibling rivalry, fighting for useless gravel pits until their re-acquaintance with their long-lost third brother Gray Mann.

Hints alluding to this addition were uncovered by the fine lads of ValveARG prior to this announcement, how they found it out I do not know. My gut tells me it involves dividing by zero or peering through the letterbox at ValveHQ.
